Roy Hill Transport Solutions

John Holland delivers transport solutions around Australia and internationally, often in challenging environments. The Roy Hill Iron Ore project, situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is a $260M project involving construction of 350 main line kilometres of track and employing over 200 people across three rail camps at any one time. With the project over 50% complete, see the great work that is being achieved.

More than 160km of optical fibre ground wire has been strung between Sheffield, George Town and Palmerston in Tasmania. The project team also installed 21,000 steel members and erected 379 new earth peaks in order to provide a safe, reliable and secure electricity transmission system to the area. In Queensland, 135.5km of double circuit transmission line and 5.5km of single circuit transmission line was constructed for the Wandoan South, Columboola and Western Downs Transmission Line Part B project.
