The first of five buildings at John Holland’s Macquarie Square development in Sydney’s booming Macquarie Park business district is almost complete.
The Glasshouse, a 38,500sqm A-Grade office tower, is being prepared for handover early next year to property investment company Charter Hall, with 80 per cent of the building leased in a landmark pre-sale.
John Holland’s Executive General Manager of Development and Investments Tom Roche said the future owners and tenants have a lot to look forward to when it comes to the property.
“Our Building team has done a fantastic job delivering this incredible commercial building that boasts quality in design and finish, and which sets a new benchmark for premium office spaces both in the area and across Australia,” Mr Roche said.
With an interior flooded with natural light - a result of a dramatic central atrium, The Glasshouse is truly a working environment beyond your typical office space.
“We want Macquarie Square to feel like a community where people will enjoy an ideal work/life integration and I believe we are well on the way to seeing that vision come to life,” Mr Roche said.
The three-hectare Macquarie Square office and lifestyle precinct will be a destination in its own right. The five commercial buildings will flank a 7,000sqm public park, premium ground floor retail amenities and offers easy access to public transport with Sydney Metro transport services a two-minute walk away.
As one of Australia’s leading integrated property and infrastructure companies, John Holland is proud to showcase our capabilities through the delivery and ongoing development and precinct management roles of this remarkable new development for Sydney.
