Where does John Holland operate?

  • We work in both metropolitan and regional areas, creating projects that transform lives, make communities more connected, and grow the economy. To learn and grow as much as possible during your time on the Graduate Program, it is essential that you’re prepared to relocate.

Is the John Holland Graduate Program a two-year program?

  • Correct. During those two years, you’ll have the opportunity to do two 12-month rotations. This will provide you with the knowledge, skills and experience to be a well-rounded professional in the construction industry.

When can I apply for the program?

  • Applications are now closed for 2021.

What do I need to do / have to be able to apply?

  • To be eligible to apply for the Graduate Program, you need to have completed your degree between January 2017 – December 2020. This includes all your study requirements and necessary industry placements.
  • You’ll also need to be an Australian / New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident. We’ll ask you to provide supporting documents throughout the recruitment process.

If I’m successful, when would I start?

  • Our program commences in February 2021.

Home to Australia’s largest capability in the rail sector, the Rail Group undertakes projects in each state of Australia in urban, regional and remote desert environments.

We deliver complex multi-discipline rail projects and specialist projects covering operations, construction, maintenance and renewals of track, signalling, overhead line, stations, structures and tunnelling in both live operational environments and greenfield sites.

The Infrastructure Group comprises specialised engineering, design and construction capability across a broad range of sectors and for projects of varying sizes. Our expertise in infrastructure spans more than 2,500 projects in Australia alone, for both public and private customers. We also have a long history of delivering projects in international markets, most notably across South East Asia and New Zealand.

Our capabilities span across a number of sectors, from transport infrastructure, utilities, and resources, to renewables and tunnelling.

As an Infrastructure Graduate, you could be working on projects like West Gate Tunnel in VIC, Sydney Metro in NSW, or Sunshine Coast Airport in QLD.

The Building Group provides the platform for the development of integrated building and operations solutions, from initial concept, to financing, planning, design, costing, construction, operations and maintenance.

We provide technical expertise in geotechnical, foundations, structural systems, services distribution and architectural finishes, ensuring John Holland is at the forefront of new products and materials sourced from across our local, national and international supply chains.

Tunnels are needed to create the road and rail mega projects that link our communities. Our team is a one-stop-shop of specialists in planning, procurement and project delivery.
